Nestled in the heart of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Spring Lake HOA is a friendly, lakeside community built around a 150-acre private lake. With two community common areas, a large dock and boat launch, and a pole barn for gatherings, Spring Lake is more than just a neighborhood — it’s a place where neighbors connect, families grow, and life on the water is cherished.

Spring Lake HOA was established in the 1960's. Our mission is to maintain a beautiful, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents. With 73 lots and 52 homes, miles of shoreline, a private pole barn, and amenities like fishing docks and a boat launch, we strive to foster a strong sense of community through transparency, collaboration, and care.

Spring Lake is one of the most peaceful places we have ever lived. The private lake is quiet and relaxing with amazing sunrises and sunsets. The neighbors are friendly and helpful. We enjoy the wildlife that visit often, and we don't even get mad when the deer eat our flowers! This is a perfect place to retire and enjoy our "golden years".

The Common Area of the Lake has special memories for my family and I. The Youth from our church came out to canoe around the Lake and share an evening bonfire. Also, our Kid's Choir had a super fun picnic there the past few years, with fishing, sack races and a cookout. My favorite time there is when we had a beautiful wedding for my daughter Darcy and her husband!
